HOLMES COUNTY JAIL VISITOR INFORMATION

The Holmes County Jail facilities'  goal for Inmate Visitation is to encourage inmates to maintain family contact through the inmate visitation process as well as provide opportunities for associations beneficial to the inmate’s overall adjustment.

No person shall introduce or cause to be introduced into or upon the property of a Detention Facility, to give any inmates any article of contraband or give any inmate anything which is not specifically authorized by Command Staff or designee, Florida State Statute 951.22. Introduction of Contraband into a Detention Facility is a felony; visitors are subject to being searched in accordance with Florida State Statute 951.22.



Inmate Visitation is a privilege; inmate visits may be denied, revoked or limited when the visit would threaten the safety, security or order of the Facility or when visitation rules are not followed.

At this time in person visitation is only allowed by request and will only be approved after inmate has been in jail for 30 days.  There will be 30 days between visits unless approved for special visit by jail Administrator.


You will need to bring your drivers license or picture ID with you for visitation.  


Upon being booked into the Holmes County Jail, inmates are allowed to receive the following items within the 1st 72 hours.  After that, all items can be purchased from Commissary.

4-SOCKS

2- WHITE THERMALS

2- WHITE BRAS FOR FEMALE INMATES, NO UNDERWIRE
