​The Holmes County Communications Center handles all emergency calls for the county.  When you place an emergency call, it goes directly to the Holmes County Communications Center in Bonifay, Florida.  Using the enhanced 911 system, communications officers are able to determine the address and phone number of the caller.  Communication officers route these calls to the appropriate service: law enforcement (Sheriff’s Office and Police Department), eight volunteer fire departments, EMS, and emergency management.  The Holmes County Communications Center is under the supervision of veteran communications officer, Supervisor Tammy Raley.
