K-9 UNIT

The Holmes County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit is a great asset and a point of pride. K-9s Bailey, Highway, and Lasso are certified, along with their handlers, in the detection of illegal narcotics.

Bailey, Highway, and Lasso are handled by Cpl. Jeremy Abbott, and Cpl. Wade Strickland, respectively.

In the support of the community, the K-9 Unit conducts demos for local schools, community organizations, civic groups, and crime watch meetings.

If you would like to schedule a demonstration by the HCSO K-9 Unit, contact Lt. Ricky Thompson at 850-547-4421 or fill out the form below.
