On 2-22-12 Deputies from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office assisted Florida Dept. of Children and Families with an investigation concerning a new born being exposed to methamphetamine at 2856 RM Ward Road in Westville.  Upon arrival Investigators met with the baby’s mother, Stephanie Williford (20), at the front door who was holding the child.  After advising the occupants of the reason for the investigation an inspection of the residence was conducted and a hidden compartment was located in the bathroom that contained bottles and chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine. Also located in the residence were glass smoking pipes that are commonly used to ingest controlled substances such as methamphetamine. The infant was removed from the home by DCF and the adults were arrested and transported to the Holmes County Jail charged as follows:

 

Luther Forehand (55) charged with convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Joseph Ray Howell (25) charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Mellissa Diane Freeman (22) charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Stephanie Ann Williford (20) charged with convicted felon in possession of firearms, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
